Week Two Stocks
Last week I bought 375 shares of Walmart (WMT) for $52.81 the current price now is $52.46. It's 52 week ranking is $151.40-$244.00. Today, the stock is down about 1.58% overall. A major competitor for Walmart is Target (TGT); it's 52 week ranking is $45.28-$60.97, which isn't quite as broad as Walmart. However, as the holiday season approaches, I believe Walmart will increase at least $3.00 because it offers more of the name brand goods that people can relate to. Target on the other hand is not as popular.

I purchased 350 shares of Limited Brands (LTD) at $40.36. the current price has dropped $.19 since that point, but has begun to progress. I believe this stock will continue to rise and progress because many popular brands are tied into this company and shopping season is slowly creeping in.

911 blog post
Here we are, ten years later from the day that changed our nation, Our Twin Towers, The World Trade Center, was struck by planes hijacked by terrorists, and fell to the ground killing thousands. And I've been posed with a question, ten years later, who won? Well? What was their goal? They could have easily struck something much larger, and more populated, why did they choose that? They were aiming to take out our economy, and break us down, today, we face a great recession, jobs are dropping significantly, we're losing money as a nation, the American people are giving up in a sense, Hussein is gone, but in the end did he win? We're slowly slipping away, and scrambling to fix this mess, I believe, people around the world is starting to see the answer to the question, America is breaking and falling under, we've got to do something quick, we have to take action if we want to hold our place in the world. In my opinion, the nation is losing, they lost the battle, but we're still strong and we're hanging on and fighting and refusing to give up and let them win.

Entry 2
My cause for what I want to do is to help people and bears live and cope together more effectively. A lot of people really don't understand how bears act and behave, therefore, everyday bears and people come together in a negative way and completely clash; resulting in bear killings, attacks, and big messes for us to clean up. I believe learning more about how these animals live and act, will greatly reduce the amount of tension between us all. One person who could help educate us on the bears and what to do when we come into contact with them is Ann Bryant, the founder of the Bear League, in Lake Tahoe, California. She spends all of her time responding to calls related to bear sightings and problems, she strives to keep the bears out of human territory and teaches people how to avoid bears in their territory. Instead of harming the bears, Ann uses tactics that scare the bears and keep them from coming back.
